This course provided a fantastic and comprehensive guide on wildfires. I really liked how it covered both the ecological balance, such as nutrient recycling and seed dispersal, and critical safety measures like evacuation planning and air quality protection. It is extremely informative and well-structured for anyone wanting to understand environmental risks better.

they clearly summarized the devastating impact of fires on nature and the ecosystem seeing how not just trees but all living things are affected is sad but it was a very informative course

Ever so insightful since SE Asia is currently under a haze again from Kalimantan tropical peat fires under the el Niño cycle. Looks like it will be as bad as in 2015. Unlike the EU the ASEAN countries don't have any leverage to each other and collective cooperation is needed to fight the fires.

What an eye-opener this wildfire module was. I gained a much clearer picture of how climate change is fueling these events and the critical need for better prevention and coexistence strategies across different landscapes. While the content was excellent, a dedicated section on specific community-level preparedness examples would have made it even more practical.
