Ever so insightful since SE Asia is currently under a haze again from Kalimantan tropical peat fires under the el Niño cycle. Looks like it will be as bad as in 2015. Unlike the EU the ASEAN countries don't have any leverage to each other and collective cooperation is needed to fight the fires.

I gained a much clearer picture of how climate change is fueling these events and the critical need for better prevention and coexistence strategies across different landscapes.
